Engineering Peer Review

An EPR is a process through which professional engineers evaluate, maintain, or monitor the quality and utilization of engineering services, prepare internal lessons learned, or exercise any combination of such responsibilities.

An EPR consists of :

  • NFPA Code Requirements (National Fire Protection Association)
  • SOP (Standard Operating Procedure)
  • PVC (Pressure Vessel Calculations)
  • Chemical Compatibility
  • Parts Specification
  • Structure Analysis
  • Electrical and Control System Analysis
  • Thermal Analysis
  • Warning Signage
  • System Photographs

An EPR can be conducted on a complete process piping system with emphasis on the safety of all the equipment in the facility as one system.
